What is this?

Route 148 is a family drama situated in a low-fantasy setting. The world is a lot like ours (aren’t they all) but not quite. Your favorite band probably exists in there, too, but most of the current political leaders don’t - some of the things that you were scared of as a kid might, but they don’t believe in bogeymen in there either. That, however, doesn’t mean they don’t exist.
The story takes place in a country that occasionally might appear to be USA. It’s not. Think spy novels with imaginary East European countries. I think you got my point.

Several things that happen in the comic have something to do with a relatively recently built road with the same name.
